Project Challenge: Astro needed an innovative launch activation for their FRAMED drama series that would create memorable, shareable moments while authentically representing the show's suspenseful narrative. The challenge was designing a gamified experience that blended interactive gameplay with immersive storytelling, captured genuine peak emotional reactions through hidden camera technology, and delivered branded takeaways that guests would value—all while maintaining the dramatic tension and brand identity of the TV series throughout the activation. Solution Approach: We crafted a custom gamified experience featuring a branded doorway structure that transported guests into the narrative, setting mood before gameplay began. Guests began by watching a teaser trailer before being thrown into a memory game, with flashing red lights and sirens ramping up tension as time ran out. A hidden camera embedded within the structure recorded genuine reactions, later delivered as split-frame photos that captured the shift from calm curiosity to full-blown surprise. The custom-built structure, interactive gamification mechanics, dynamic SFX & lighting, and peak-reaction branded prints created a striking, memorable takeaway.
