AI background removal separated each guest from the store background and composited them onto a Tommy Hilfiger-branded frame, printed as a four-pose photo strip guests could collect on the spot. A QR code on every strip gave guests an instant digital download to share. The opening also featured a VR viewfinder: a VR headset built into a binocular-style metal viewer on a steel pedestal, styled to Tommy Hilfiger's nautical set, which guests looked into while holding a handheld controller.

Shu Uemura partnered with Instamedia to create a 3D photo booth experience at City Mart, Malaysia. This interactive activation combined modern technology with beauty brand engagement, allowing customers to capture stunning dual-angle photos while exploring Shu Uemura's premium cosmetics line. Instamedia built a custom-developed photo booth for the Samsung Galaxy Z Pop Up tour, running across 6 malls: Mid Valley Southkey JB, IOI City Mall Putrajaya, 1 Utama, Suria KLCC, Sunway Velocity and Queensbay Mall Penang. The software ran on three folded Galaxy Z Fold phones, each one the camera capturing a different angle. Over 25 days of roughly 12-hour daily operation, the tour produced 2,292 prints from 1,419 capture sessions, peaking over the weekend of July 25 to 26.

At S&W Restaurant in Suria KLCC, Instamedia built a custom app for Samsung's Watch Party, running on the brand's new Galaxy Z Fold8 phone. Guests designed their own postcard directly in the app, styled to the evening's palette, before it printed out at A6 size to take home. Powered by IN:FRAME™, the activation gave VIP guests a personalised keepsake from a single evening at the launch.

At the PARKROYAL COLLECTION Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Instamedia powered a dual-zone interactive activation for the HAYS Year End Party 2026. At the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show 2026, XPENG's activation ran on Instabox, Instamedia's compact AI photobooth, with a customization flow engineered specifically for this show: each guest selects an outfit style, then a vehicle type from XPENG's lineup, and the AI generates a hyper-real portrait of their futuristic self with their chosen car and setting. This guest-driven outfit and vehicle selection runs on our in-house IN:FRAME™ AI pipeline, a depth of on-booth customization we have not seen any other studio in the region offer.
