Project Challenge: Puma needed a high-impact activation for their largest Southeast Asia flagship store launch that would create memorable, shareable moments while showcasing brand innovation. The challenge was integrating motion tracking technology with immersive 3D visuals on an L-shaped LED wall, enabling real-time gameplay that responded to guest movement, and creating competitive engagement through live leaderboards—all while maintaining brand consistency and capturing first-party data. Solution Approach: We deployed our custom-built IMX Bespoke Kinect motion tracking system combining Microsoft Kinect sensors with 3D cityscape environments displayed on an L-shaped LED wall. Guests registered via iPad, selected one of four themed environments, and ran in place on the Kinect platform. The sensor tracked body movement and speed in real-time, propelling runners through branded 3D worlds with responsive visuals that reacted to their pace. Live leaderboards displayed rankings instantly, fueling competition and repeat play.
