Built in our Kuala Lumpur studio, run by our own crew
The moment that opens your launch, and the activity that keeps guests there after the speeches. VIP signings on glass, AR and locker reveals, hologram ambassadors and launch games, all built in-house and run on the day by our own crew.

A launching gimmick is the moment that officially opens a product launch, store opening or corporate event, such as a VIP signing or a reveal, so the room has something to watch and the cameras have something to film. The best ones do two jobs.
A short, filmable moment for the guest of honour: a signature that plays on the big screen, a product that appears in AR, or a hologram ambassador who greets the room.
The same setup keeps running for guests and shoppers after the speeches, with prints, videos, scores and leads you can count.

What we build
Four kinds of launch moment, each from a real Instamedia project.

Replace the ribbon with a signature. Guests write on an illuminated glass panel while a camera records them, and the clip plays on the big screen and goes home by QR code. Coway ran it for its refrigerator launch roadshow, with 407 videos over 4 days, and Maybank Group Awards Night recorded 396 videos in 6 hours. See the Coway launch.

Let the product appear on cue. For Nike Unreal Studio by JD Sports, a motion-triggered AR display unveiled designer apparel in 360 degrees inside a custom structure with an opening door, for 2,673 people over 4 days. For the New Balance 1000 drop, a quiz unlocked a real locker with the shoe lit inside. See the Nike reveal or the locker reveal.
A 3D hologram that appears to float in mid-air, with no headset or glasses. Our Holobox can show an AI avatar of your spokesperson or brand ambassador who greets guests at the launch and answers questions in real time. See AI avatars and holograms.

Make the new product something people play. At the Tiger Soju launch, guests sliced fruit with their bare hands in a body-tracking AR game, with 100 percent merch redemption. Victoria's Secret launched VSX with a sensor-paddle pickleball game that 1,951 people played over 7 days. See the Tiger launch.
More launches
Guests sat in the car over an LED floor for a top-down photo, and 96% downloaded it. See the car launch.
Three folded Galaxy Z Fold phones were the cameras, across 6 malls over 25 days. See the roadshow.
An AI booth turned each shopper into a space-themed portrait, and 92% downloaded it. See the store launch.
The Unveil Glass Booth ran for 4 days at Pavilion Bukit Jalil. See the roadshow.
A pickleball game played with a sensor paddle at Suria KLCC over 7 days. See the launch.
A 360-degree AR reveal of designer apparel over 4 days. See the reveal.
Occasions
A reveal or a game built around the product, so guests try it instead of hearing about it.
A VIP signing on glass for the ceremony, then a booth or game for shoppers who walk in after.
Put guests inside the product or make it the camera, like Leapmotor and Samsung.
Locker reveals, AR garment reveals and photo booths that show the outfit.
A stage moment the whole room can watch, like the glass signatures replayed on screen at Maybank Group Awards Night.
Multi-day and multi-mall launches with one crew and one report, like Coway and Samsung.

FAQ
A launching gimmick is the moment that officially opens a product launch, store opening or corporate event, such as a VIP signing or a reveal, plus the activity that keeps guests engaged afterwards. Instamedia builds interactive ones: signatures on glass, AR and locker reveals, hologram ambassadors and launch games.
At Instamedia, launch photo booths start from RM3,500, the Unveil Glass Booth for VIP signings from RM8,000, branded launch games from RM6,300 and AR or VR from RM8,000. Custom reveals such as holograms, AR product reveals and fabricated reveal structures are built under IMX Bespoke, from RM25,000.
Replace the ribbon with a signature: the guest of honour signs an illuminated glass panel and the recording plays on the big screen as the official opening. Other options are a reveal triggered by a gesture or a code, such as an AR or locker reveal, or a hologram ambassador who greets the room.
Yes. The same setup runs for guests and shoppers after the speeches: the glass booth records everyone who signs, a launch game keeps a live leaderboard, and booths print and share by QR code. At Coway's launch roadshow, the glass booth recorded 407 videos over 4 days.
