Custom interactive installations for Singapore brands, coded and built in our Kuala Lumpur studio
Instamedia designs, codes and builds interactive installations for Singapore product launches, flagship stores, conferences and corporate events: sensor and projection games, phone-controlled multiplayer games, participatory digital displays and virtual try-on. Our own developers write the software, the hardware is fabricated in our Kuala Lumpur workshop, and the same team handles every integration, from sensors and registration to prizes, live leaderboards and data. Prices are in SGD, all in, and no GST is charged.

Every installation on this page was coded by our developers and built and tested in Kuala Lumpur. Our Singapore work includes the Leica 100 quiz at the opening of Leica's Singapore flagship store at South Beach Quarter. See our projects.
What we build
Six kinds of installation, each built for the campaign rather than pulled from a catalogue. The game logic, the screens and the hardware are ours.

Guests kick, hit, throw or run, and sensors turn every move into a score. For Tudor's evening with David Beckham we projected a 3D stadium and an AI goalkeeper, with LIDAR tracking each real football: 297 guests played over 4 hours. See the Tudor game.

Guests scan a QR code and their own phone becomes the controller, with no app to install. Up to 10 players compete on one big screen with a live leaderboard. At OTC Exhibition, 983 people played Wefic's submarine game over 4 days. See the Wefic game.

Guests create something on a tablet, such as a flower, a message or a sketch, and it appears live on a large screen that grows through the event. KWAP's Digital Garden added an ambient soundscape and synchronised lighting, and every message passed through a moderation dashboard first. See the KWAP installation.

Fast games and quizzes on large touchscreens, with live leaderboards and prize logic built in. For Clarks CloudStepper, a quiz and a cloud catching game led to personalised shoe vouchers in three reward tiers: 2,135 people played over 8 days. See the Clarks game.

Guests build a look and see themselves wearing it, then print it on the spot. MUJI's SS26 digital fitting room ran for 7 days with 1,061 people, and a live dashboard tracked the most chosen items. See the MUJI fitting room.

Branded vending cabinets that dispense product when a challenge is won, and digital claw machines with prize stock tracked in real time. F&N's shake-to-win vending machine reached 12,857 people across 13 locations. Claw machines in Singapore.
Why custom
Every game mechanic and screen is coded by our in-house team on IMX Engine™, our own interactive platform, and one-off builds run on IMX Bespoke™. There are no third-party licences and no white-label templates.
Cabinets, sensor rigs and structures are fabricated in our Kuala Lumpur workshop to your brand specification, then tested there before they travel.
The mechanic itself is designed for the campaign idea: a sensor wall for a sports brand, a football against an AI goalkeeper, a shake-to-win vending machine.
The people who built the installation set it up at your Singapore venue, run it through the event and take it away after.
Instamedia has run more than 6,000 activations since 2012, including 1,625 in the last three years, for brands such as Huawei, Toyota and Nike.
Concept, code, hardware, integrations, crew and reporting sit with one team, so there is one point of contact for the whole build.
Integrations
Most of the work in a custom installation is joining things up. Our developers build these connections for each project.
LIDAR ball tracking, motion and body tracking, impact sensors and shake sensors, each calibrated so every hit or move scores fairly.
A QR scan connects a guest's phone to the big screen in seconds, so several players can compete at once with no app download.
Sign-up on a tablet or by QR, with opt-in consent, and the data passed to your own systems through an API when you need it.
One prize per person, prize stock tracked in real time, product dispensed when a challenge is won, or vouchers matched to each player's answers.
Scores ranked live on screen to drive repeat play, and guest messages moderated on a dashboard before they appear in public.
Plays, dwell time, scores, scans and leads on a live dashboard, a report within 48 hours, and the same installation run across several venues.

FAQ
An interactive installation is a physical setup at an event or in a store that reacts to the people using it: a game played with a real ball, a screen that grows as guests add to it, or a fitting room that shows you wearing the outfit you chose. Instamedia builds them from the brief upwards, with our own software, hardware and integrations.
In SGD and all in, a ready-made game from our IMX Engine library costs S$5,000 to S$6,500, and a standard interactive on our existing framework starts from S$6,400. A custom branded build on IMX Bespoke starts from S$20,000, and bespoke flagship installations start from S$48,000, priced on the brief.
No GST is charged. Your SGD quote already includes delivery from Kuala Lumpur, cross-border transport, permits and carnet, and the on-site crew, so there is no separate delivery fee.

We have built installations that use LIDAR, motion, impact and shake sensors, turn guests' phones into controllers by QR code, capture registrations with opt-in consent, pass data to a client's own systems, run one-prize-per-person redemption, dispense product and show live leaderboards and dashboards. Tell us what you need to connect, and our developers scope it at the concept stage.
