Launch technology for Singapore product launches and store openings, built by our own developers in Kuala Lumpur
Instamedia builds the moment that opens your launch and the activity that keeps guests there after the speeches: VIP signings on glass, AR and locker reveals, launch games and custom camera booths. Our developers write the software, our studio builds the structures, and we connect it all to your lead forms, dashboards and screens. Prices are in SGD, all in, and no GST is charged.

What it is
In Singapore, the moment that officially opens a product launch, store opening or opening ceremony is often called a launch mechanism. It replaces the ribbon with something the room can watch and the cameras can film. The good ones do two jobs.
A short, filmable moment for the guest of honour: a signature that plays on the big screen, a product that appears in AR, or a locker that opens when the answer is right.
The same setup keeps running for guests and shoppers once the speeches end, with prints, videos, scores and leads you can count.
Every play, print and sign-up is counted live and sent to you afterwards, so the launch report has real numbers in it.

What we build
Six kinds of launch moment, each from a real Instamedia project. Every one of them was designed, coded and built by our own team.

Guests write on an illuminated glass panel while a camera records them, and the clip plays on the big screen and goes home by QR code. Coway's refrigerator launch recorded 407 videos over 4 days. See the Coway launch.

For Nike Unreal Studio by JD Sports, a gesture-controlled AR display revealed designer apparel in 360 degrees inside a custom structure with an opening door, for 2,673 people over 4 days. For the New Balance 1000 drop, a quiz unlocked a real locker with the shoe lit inside. See the Nike reveal or the locker reveal.

At the Tiger Soju launch, guests sliced fruit with their bare hands in a body-tracking AR game inside a custom-built booth, with 100 percent merch redemption. See the Tiger launch.

For the Leapmotor C10, guests sat in the car over an animated LED floor while an overhead camera took a top-down photo: 1,091 prints, with 96 percent downloaded. See the car launch.

Our developers wrote photo booth software that ran on three folded Galaxy Z Fold phones as the cameras, across 6 malls over 25 days, with 2,292 prints. See the Samsung roadshow.

For Great Eastern's Great Retirement Pride launch, an AI booth showed each guest a future version of themselves in retirement scenes. See the launch or AI photo booths in Singapore.
Why it matters
A launch gets one chance, so we do not rent the pieces from someone else. The software, the booth structures and the reveal hardware are made by our team in Kuala Lumpur, and the people who build it are the people who run it on the day.
Our developers write the games, AR, AI and booth software, and our studio builds the structures. That is how a launch mechanism fits your product instead of a rental catalogue.
Registration forms with consent, quiz answers and prize codes, sent to your CRM through its API. The Leica 100 quiz in Singapore captured opt-in registrations this way.
Sensors, motion tracking and dispensers wired into the game. The F&N Teh Tarik launch dispensed a real drink to every guest who won the shake challenge.
Scores on the big screen while the launch runs, with prize triggers when a guest wins, as in the Victoria's Secret VSX game.
Plays, prints and downloads tracked in one place across venues and days, like the Samsung roadshow across 6 malls.
AI styles built for your product, with name input and QR delivery. The Toyota GR booth processed each photo in about 45 seconds with 99.8 percent uptime.
Proof
The first three ran in Singapore. Each card says where the work ran.

A branded quiz for the opening of Leica's flagship store at South Beach Quarter: 107 registrations, 83 percent prize redemption, and data sent to the CRM.

Treadmills turned into an 8-bit runner game, with a pixel avatar from each guest’s photo and live leaderboards across three cities: 693 participants.

A WebAR game on guests’ phones with every 3D asset made in-house: 5,680 people across Malaysia and Singapore.

A sensor-based shake-to-win game connected to a vending machine that dispensed the new drink: 12,857 people across 13 locations.

Custom AI models put fans in GR racing suits, with name input, QR delivery and a live monitoring dashboard: 1,906 fans over 3 days.

A pickleball game played with sensor paddles we built, with a live leaderboard: 1,951 players over 7 days.

Working together
Most Singapore launches have a venue, a stage and AV supplier, and often an event agency. We are the launch technology team inside that plan.
Brief us directly on the product and the moment you want. We design the mechanism, build it and run it, and send the numbers afterwards.
You keep the venue, stage, emcee and run of show. We build and run the launch mechanism and the guest activity, and test everything with your AV team before doors open.
Roadshows and launches across several malls or cities with one crew lead and one report, like Samsung's 6-mall tour and Sun & Sands Sports across three cities.

FAQ
In Singapore, a launch mechanism is the moment that officially opens a product launch, store opening or opening ceremony, such as a VIP signing, a reveal or a countdown, so the room has something to watch and the cameras have something to film. Instamedia builds interactive ones: signatures on glass, AR and locker reveals, launch games and custom camera booths.
At Instamedia, launch photo booths start from S$2,800, the Unveil Glass Booth for VIP signings from S$6,400, branded launch games from S$5,000 and AR or VR from S$6,400. Custom launch builds such as AR product reveals, locker reveals and hologram ambassadors are built under IMX Bespoke from S$20,000. All prices are in SGD and all in.
Every quote includes the setup branded to your launch, our own operator and technician on site, delivery from Kuala Lumpur, cross-border transport, permits and carnet, setup and teardown, and a report on prints, videos, plays and leads after the event.
No GST is charged. The SGD price in your quote is the price you pay, with delivery, permits and crew already included.
We are the launch technology team rather than a full event organiser. We design, build and run the launch mechanism, the guest activity and the data, and we work alongside your venue, stage and AV suppliers or your event agency. Brands can also brief us directly.
Yes. We build registration forms with consent, quizzes, prize redemption by QR code or SMS and live dashboards, and send the leads to your CRM through its API. The Leica 100 quiz at Leica's Singapore flagship opening captured opt-in registrations this way.
Yes. Custom reveals are built under IMX Bespoke from S$20,000, with a lead time of 2 to 6 weeks. Past builds include a gesture-controlled AR reveal inside a structure with an opening door for Nike Unreal Studio by JD Sports, and a locker that opened when guests answered a quiz for the New Balance 1000 drop.
Replace the ribbon with a signature on the Unveil Glass Booth that plays on the big screen, or a reveal that opens on cue. After the ceremony, the same booth or a launch game keeps running for shoppers, so the opening keeps drawing people in for the rest of the day.
A ready-to-deploy setup can be ready for Singapore in under two weeks. Software features such as overlays, AI styles and game skins take 48 to 72 hours, and custom reveals or fabricated structures take 2 to 6 weeks.
No. Instamedia is based in Kuala Lumpur. Everything is built and tested in our studio, then our own crew brings it across the border with the correct permits and carnet and runs it at your venue, including Marina Bay Sands, Suntec Convention Centre, Sands Expo, Singapore EXPO, Orchard Road and Sentosa.
