Shu Uemura partnered with Instamedia to create an immersive 3D photo booth experience at City Mart, Malaysia. This interactive activation combined cutting-edge technology with beauty brand engagement, allowing customers to capture stunning dual-angle photos while exploring Shu Uemura premium cosmetics line. Project Challenge: Shu Uemura sought to create a memorable brand activation at City Mart that would differentiate their beauty brand from competitors. Traditional photo booths offered flat, 2D images that failed to capture product depth and brand immersion. They needed an innovative solution that would bring their cup noodle campaign theme to life while enabling social sharing and brand storytelling. Solution Approach: Instamedia designed a custom 3D immersive photo booth featuring a dual-angle capture system synchronized with a digital microwave-style interface. The solution seamlessly blended physical props (cup noodle) with digital elements (animated noodles, steam effects) to create an authentic brand experience. Using IN:FRAME technology, Instamedia team engineered a solution where guests could capture photos from multiple angles simultaneously, creating dynamic, shareable content that resonated with both product features and brand identity. Charlotte Tilbury partnered with Instamedia to create a fully enclosed photo booth experience for their official launch event in Malaysia. This luxury beauty activation featured exclusive A3 newspaper-style prints, animated launch-themed stickers, and instant QR downloads, reflecting the brand signature glamour and the event Broadway-inspired aesthetic. Project Challenge: Charlotte Tilbury needed a standout photo booth activation for their official Malaysia launch that would capture the brand essence of glamour and sophistication while creating memorable keepsakes for guests. Traditional photo booths offered standard print sizes that lacked impact, and most solutions could not deliver the oversized newspaper-style prints that would make the activation truly special. They needed a solution that combined luxury aesthetics, custom print formats, and seamless digital sharing to create lasting brand impressions that resonated with beauty industry professionals and influencers attending the launch event. New Balance Grey Day launched an AI-powered photo booth that transformed fashion photography through instant grey-tone filters and branded customization. Project Challenge: Fashion brands need instant, on-brand photography without post-production delays, while capturing professional DSLR-grade images that maintain brand aesthetic consistency. Traditional photobooths require manual editing or produce generic outputs. Solution Approach: Instamedia deployed an IN:FRAME AI Photo Booth with advanced AI photo processing that instantly eliminates backgrounds, applies signature grey-tone filters, and matches New Balance brand colors in real-time. Guests choose from branded photo frames and custom overlays, personalize their shots with stickers, then instantly receive prints and QR-code digital downloads without manual editing. The system printed 1,326 photos across 11 days with zero post-production time. Live dashboards tracked engagement and photo customization preferences. Curated in collaboration with JD Sports, Instamedia developed an immersive AR experience that reimagined designer Masyadi Mansoor’s apparel in 3D. Guests could interact with the installation using hand gestures, controlling clusters of spheres that flew around the garments as they rotated in a 360-degree view. These reactive visuals represented the Air Max DN cushioning system, creating a high-impact showcase that elevated brand storytelling, captured attention, and encouraged deeper audience engagement.
