Instamedia is a Malaysia Digital (MD) status company that has delivered over 1,000 brand activations and events since 2012. The Operations Intern supports our ops team in delivering event deployments and on-ground activations. You'll help prepare and test equipment, follow checklists and SOPs, and join setups on site, learning how we deliver premium interactive experiences for brands from the warehouse to the event floor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help prepare, pack, test and maintain event equipment before deployments
- Support setup, dismantle and on-site operations at events
- Assist with logistics, timing and inventory movement
- Follow SOPs, checklists and quality checks to minimise failures
- Help troubleshoot basic technical issues and escalate when needed
- Keep the warehouse organised, labelled and event-ready
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree; Event Management, Engineering or IT is a plus
- Responsible, punctual and comfortable with physical, hands-on work
- Detail-oriented and able to follow SOPs and checklists consistently
- Able to work weekends or evenings when event schedules require
- Bonus: Basic technical familiarity with AV, PC or equipment setup
